New subway was inaugurated in Jan. 2009
Took about two years to complete at the cost of Rs. 7,18,28,955.94,
But it seems 3 in 5 people not using the subway and instead using dangerous shortcuts
as seen in pic and video

Goa Medical College/Bambolim
One end of the road barrier is too close to the Main GMC gate
So people/patients prefer dangerous shortcuts to
Newly constructed subways
And that includes Medical students/staff etc which is their
hitch-hiking point too. Under the mango tree- see pic
(towards Cortalim/Margao/Vasco)

It seems there is no bus shed or shelter to the Panjim bound Pax
Bus stop (open space) is to the right of the white car seen in the pic abv
Pax have to stand under the hot sun and soon it rains in Goa
Donâ€™t know why the middle lane is still not in use despite throwing
open to public in last January

There are about 6 exit/entry points, including 2/3 wheelchair access etc
looks like the work done hurriedly, it was messy inside.
Monsoon has not started yet, water seen logged inside the drainage already
